My blood pressure was awful during Connor's pregnancy, and given my terrible diet, I'm not surprised why now.
It consisted of frozen cokes *cringe* mcDonalds, lots of sugar, and very little fresh organic food.

I keep thinking "Poor Connor"

When I was pregnant with Olly, it was really important to keep my bloodpressure in check.

Before I fell pregnant, Adam and I had already radically changed our diets, Adam lost 40 kg and has kept it all off as a result. We both eat a largely vegetarian diet now, have loads of energy, and are really vital.

Anyway, blood pressure. My gorgeous doula Lisa, recommended I have a read of Tom Brewers site www.blueribbonbaby.org which has some fascinating info on blood pressure, and how it's directly related to diet.

And the generally accepted way of handling Blood Pressure is counterproductive.

Just to add, the site is extremely helpful to anyone with experience of Pre eclampsia, toxemia or HELLP Syndrome. They can all be avoided.
