The pain in labour, is for the most part bearable. Affirmations, and self talk, is something you can practise during pregnancy, to help steer you through the tougher parts.
Here's a collection I've put together:
*I am confident and capable.
*My baby feels my joy
*I am surrounded by support and love
*My baby feels my love
*I have untapped sources of strength
*My body is opening for my baby.
*I have the courage to surrender
*It is safe to let go and surrender
*My baby is safe, and happy
*It is safe to trust my body
*I can let go and relax
*My baby knows how to birth
*I can birth my baby
*I ride these waves
*I am relaxed, and calm
*I am confident and capable.
*My Body is inately capable, I can trust.
*Open, Open, Open.
*It is good to embrace the pain
And the only one I could remember mid-labour.... "Come onnnnn baby"
